The names of the women journalists receiving the Kathy Gannon Legacy Award from Women in Journalism Press Freedom this year have been announced. The award ceremony will take place on November 28 in London.

This year, the Kathy Gannon Legacy Award is being given to Leila Molana from the Public Broadcasting Service in the USA and Saima Mohsin from Sky News in the UK.

Leila Molana is being honored for her reporting on the Middle East, while Saima Mohsin is being recognized for upholding journalistic values under challenging circumstances.

Saima Mohsin has also served as a correspondent for the American news network CNN in Pakistan.

The Women in Journalism organization stated that Leila Molana and Saima Mohsin remind us of those women journalists around the world who continue their pursuit of truth.
