Famed anchor person Gharida Farooqi is the latest to falls prey to corona virus after fellow colleague Maria Memon.

So far, number of journalists across the country have been infected with the corona virus. Meanwhile, Gharida Farooqi, who is associated with a private TV channel, has also fallen victim to the deadly virus.

Gharida Farooqi tweeted on social networking site Twitter that the symptoms of corona virus appeared 2 days ago.

She added that she has already doing self-isolation at home.

“This disease is a reality and there is no shame in getting infected with it.”

Gharida Farooqi also asked the people to pray for her speedy recovery.

Earlier, well-known female anchor Maria Memon also contracted the corona virus.

Maria Memon says she showed some symptoms of the corona virus, after which she had her corona tested. The test report came in as positive.

Maria Memon quarantined herself after a positive corona test.

“People need to show responsibility and get tested immediately if you have any symptoms,” she said.

If diagnosed, quarantine yourself and let people know about your illness, she further added.
