Journalists involved in their country’s economic and political development can apply for a summer fellowship at Stanford University.
The Draper Hills Summer Fellowship on Democracy and Development is a three-week program that brings together 25-30 mid-career professionals across all disciplines, especially those from developing countries.
The university covers travel, accommodation, living expenses and visa costs. The training program provides a forum for emerging leaders to connect, exchange experiences and receive academic training through seminars, academic readings and classroom-based curriculum.
Applicants must have a working knowledge of English and submit an online form, resume, statement of purpose and up to three letters of recommendation.
The deadline is December 12.
