Rawalpindi Women University and Women Media Center has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance skills and build capacity of the female students in the media department of the University. The MoU aims to bridge the gap in the media sector and empower female media students to have their significant contribution in the field. WMC thanks the Vice Chancellor of the RWU Prof. Dr Anila Kamal for advancing the teaching approaches at the University level. The signing ceremony was held at the Vice Chancellor Office at Rawalpindi Women University in Rawalpindi. Ms. Fauzia Shaheen, CEO, Women Media Center and Dr. Anila Kamal, VC, RWU exchanged their opinions and goals they envisioned to see progressed and developed working environment for female working media students. The signing ceremony was also attended by Iraj Atiq Khan, Senior Program Assistant, WMC, Dr. Noman Ahmed Ansari, Head of Media and Communication Studies, RWU, Dr. Baqir Husnain, Additional Director, External linkages and QEC, RWU, Ms. Iraj Munawar Gill, Assistant Director External Linkages. WMC aims to accelerate the learning and development of female media students to have reduced gender gap in the professional media sector. We look forward to continued support and coordination together under the umbrella of this MoU.
