WMC Report Sparks Change: Incarcerated Women Granted Voting Rights in 2024 Elections

The Election Commission and prison authorities have taken action based on the WMC report. Directives have been issued allowing incarcerated women to exercise their right to vote. In the upcoming general elections in 2024, imprisoned Pakistani women and men will be able to cast their votes. Inmates in jail will use postal ballots to select their preferred candidates.
