Speaking at a Women Media Center Pakistan event, Dr. Sadia Kamal, President PFUJ Workers and Incharge APP – Saraiki News Network, reflected on the organization’s lasting impact in empowering women journalists across Pakistan.

Drawing from her own experience as a former Women Media Center trainee, she shared how the organization’s training programs helped prepare women for successful careers in journalism. She emphasized that meaningful empowerment comes when women have access to quality education, professional training, secure employment, fair wages, and opportunities to participate in leadership and decision-making.

Dr. Sadia Kamal also highlighted the importance of engaging university students, interns, and early-career journalists through mentorship and practical workshops, while calling on more institutions to create supportive environments where women can thrive and lead.
