Rumours circulating on social media had it that the whole family of Sana Hashwani, co-owner of Sana Safinaz’s, was affected with coronavirus including her daughter Zevair Hashwani and son in law Taimoor Badat.

However the rumours were partially true as only the daughter of Sana Hashwani has been tested positive for the COVID19 virus.

The daughter herself cleared the air by confirming the news on her social account.

Hashwani on the other hand took to Instagram to confirm that she had been tested negative for the virus. 

We’re glad to hear that she hasn’t been affected by the highly contagious virus. That said, although Hashwani had travelled recently, we’re assuming she displayed no symptoms as it was merely “precautionary”. The fact that she was able to get tested so swiftly highlights the inequality of our healthcare system.
